Pulwama Attack: AICWA Announced- Pakistani Actors & Artists Will Be Banned From Industry



Total Dhamal will not be released in Pakistan

A notice shout out by All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) to ban all Pakistani actors and artists working in the Indian film industry on Monday afternoon on deadliest Pulwama terror attack took place on 14th February that martyred 40 soldiers

According to the news agency tweet, the association said if any organisation that signs on or found working with Pakistani nationals then strict action will be taken against them.


“All India Cine Workers strongly condemns the brutal terrorist attack on our soldiers at Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. Our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, AICWA stands with the nation in confronting such as terror and inhumanity.
“We're officially announcing a total ban on Pakistani Actors and Artists working in Film Industry. Still, if any organisation insists on working with Pakistani Artists will be banned by AICWA and a strong action will be taken against them. Nation comes first, we stand with our nation."

It is followed by a day after the leader of MNS party had urged the music industry to drop Pakistani artist.

President of MNS Chitrapat Sena, Amey Khopkar, told news agency that, "T-Series has already removed Pakistani artistes' videos from their various channels from February 15 and has decided to ban them all in future. Other music companies are following them".

Earlier in the day, Total Dhamal actor, Ajay Devgn also announced for his upcoming multi starred film will not be released in Pakistan. Devgn tweeted “In light of the current situation, the team of ‘Total Dhamaal’ has decided to not release the film in Pakistan”. The cast and crew of the film also contributed Rs. 50 lakh to the martyred jawan’s families.

Other Bollywood personalities including, Big B and Salman Khan also paid a contribution to this Pulwama terror attack. Celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Aamir Khan, Rishi Kapoor have strongly expressed the grief through social media.
